Hello! I'm Dan, a Senior Environment/Level Artist in the video game industry.
I’m originally from Nottingham, UK, now based in Montréal, Canada for the past 19 years. I’ve been in the industry for 23+ years and have worked on all kinds of games. Over the past decade, I’ve mainly created large sections of open-world environments for AAA games. As an Environment Artist, I enjoy exploring and experimenting with new tools and engines to better understand the technical side of creating a game world and improve my art.

Worked as a Level Artist on many projects and on one project as a Team Lead Level Artist. Dealt with the terrain, vegetation, prop modelling, creation of location layouts, lighting, polishing, metrics constraints and technical optimization.

This role involved photographing images on a research trip to New York and modelling and texturing photo-realistic cars and environments based on these images.
